If you are having a problem with PETROG then please check in the forum to see if a bug or fault has been reported. If so, there may be a fix or workaround posted.  If your problem has not been reported, then you can either post a bug report on the forum or e-mail us at  and we will try to solve your problem. Note that you must be a registered user of the forum to access the "Faults and Bugs" message board.

Please check that your support contract is valid. You can contact us regarding a problem with PETROG even if you do not have a support contract.

Please include the following information where relevant:

  • The version of PETROG or PetrogLite
  • The PC platform you are using, including the version of Windows
  • The serial number of the stepping stage
  • The make and model of the microscope
  • A description of the problem, and any error messages you have encountered

Users who have purchased PETROG can download their copy from the downloads section. Users who have purchased PETROG support contract may also be able to access tutorial videos and other documentation.
